    The wood is gorgeous !

That said , quilted Maple makes me think California style roll over , and leverguns crying for figured Walnut.

Where’s a listing to a 45LC I can jump on? This will seriously be a crown jewel for your families collection.

Crabby, find the rifle and send it to Lee. Or get in touch and he can find you.

And yeah, the only problem, which one of my sons will get it?

I may have to get him to convert my .338 MXLR in a few years. (Definitely not any time soon, because $$, OUCH!)

I'm salivating at the moment. I've been toying with the idea of a 45-70 Marlin for a while now, and now I'm REALLY thinking about it. I see it says call for pricing, and I'd imagine these things are not cheap, understandably so. Anybody have an idea of average cost?

Wild West Guns is getting around $3,400 for their complete takedown rifles. Could probably knock some off for sending in your own rifle.

This is what gun guys do instead of buying a Rolex.
