There are no perfect answers Grasshoppa. :)

I was referring to the time last year when ammunition simply wasn't available anywhere. Even the LGS couldn't get it.

They barely had enough to sell with the guns.

OK, I get that. If other calibers were ever near the scarcity that 22 is now I can see how stocking it would be a problem.
Grasshoppa indeed, I just got in the game in the last 6 months :lol2:

It's a good decision to hold ammo back and sell the ammo with the firearm.

It allows the customer to walk out with a complete package.

Some ranges were refusing to sell ammo outright so the folks coming into shoot would have something to shoot.

No one wants to view these polices from the eyes of the shop owners.

My problem with this is one it is not a range i could see witholding if it was and two there was a big pile of ammo.

I just drove by and they have a "store closing sale" sign but I have no idea when they're actually open. May possibly be some good deals. Or maybe since they're going out of business they are just now lowering the prices to normal levels :lol2:

I hear THE GUN RACK in Burtonsville may be closing soon too!

I heard that also. Their CS left some to be desired most of the time. And always smelled like an ashtray, but they were the only shop I know of to stock CZs. High priced but they had them.
