    I'd like to post a photo of my Kimber, but that POS blew up in my hand after about 750 rounds. Kimber said it was cracked in the slide and frame, so its toast. Offered me a new one at cost. Said no thanks.

    And that's the best they could do? I'm with you and I'll never buy a Kimber because of that.

    He probably means the "undercut" at front lower frame by the mag baseplate.
    Hopefully you realize the pistol has been heavily buffed, edges "rounded" & refinished?

    Wait, what? One of their pistols blew up in your hand and they didn't replace it under warranty? Seems like a liability issue to me, unless it blew up with something other than factory ammo.
