Unfortunately Silverado shows have declined in quality for several reasons...local politics such as Montgomery and PG Counties...MD laws have made out-of-state vendors stop coming into the state as they don't care to go to the trouble of segregating merchandise no longer legal in MD or don't want to accidentally run afoul of the laws...and several regulars at Silverado shows have retired or passed away with no replacement.

Sad...I continue to go the the Frederick Silverado show not because of the show's quality but because it's only a few miles away.

A-1 is usually there and they have great stuff and often have trade in guns at great prices. I got a steal on a Beretta PX4 Storm last time I was there. Also Blue Fins, South Carrol, and other IP's worthy of your support.

I will be going. Yes, not as big or as good as it used to be, but it is only 12 minutes from home, and I usually find something worthwhile. Plus, I have to supervise my Cub Scout grandsons that are selling popcorn for the Pack. Come and support the Cub Scouts.

Theses shows seem to be mostly black guns. Does anyone know of a local show that has more early hunting rifles. Not tha antique arms show era.

Any IPs that will be there have any Colt Commanders or Defenders? Colt ARs? If so I'll be there. PM me please!

I know that United Guns, an IP here has a Colt Defender in stock, but I don't think that they do shows. I was in there late last night, so I think they still have it. They will hold it for you on a phone call.

You should be able to find a fair number of older hunting rifles there, you just have to look for them.
And no, I don't work for Frank.
