    He did die, yes, but he didn't have to. Dying was his choice by putting himself into that position in the first place. Choices have consequences. It's sad that he died before learning that.

    You are absolutely right. I hope his friends learn from this and don't have to die like he did.

    So, he did a break in and went to court the next day?

    I doubt he made it to court. The DA Nolle Pro'd him before a court appearance could occur.

    A decision to not prosecute is not done by a judge.
