Anyone know where I can get a corned ham?

I would say either McKays or some of the small local stores like the little stand, Wood's Produce, in charlotte hall. I know from time to time they have some good fresh bacon there. You could probably ask them and they might at least know somebody if they don't have it.

McKays or Nicks. Make sure you have the bone removed by chissle not cut out. My wife and I make several each year. Don't cut the greans to fine or they will turn to mush when cooked and trim as much of the fat off as possible the greese will collect in the greens and make it slimmy.

McKays is the best but you can get a decent one from Brandy Farms (St Stephens Curhc Road and Rt 3 in Anne Arundel county).

OK folks, I see two different terms here, corned ham and stuffed ham. Are they the same or different? What are they? I know what corned beef is, is corned ham similar?? Why would someone "corn" a ham? What is the flavor like?

Stuffed ham = a corned ham stuffed with greens

OBTW, the spicier the better :)

OK, what type of greens? Spinach, kale or collard greens? What gives it the spicy bite? I am originally from Buffalo. I know beef on weck sandwiches, not this stuffed ham stuff. I also know "Buffalo wings". Thanks for the education.

Typically, Kale and Cabbage. The spice come from the Mustard seed and Crushed red pepper. YMMV

Some people on the eastern shore will sub water crest for the kale. This thread reminds me I need to order 6 more hams. Next week is gling to be busy.

    +1 , That's Eastern Shore Stuffed Ham. :D

In either case, both are considered fine eating when I take them down to Chesapeake, VA!

We had a friend from Japan who was with us one year and he could not stop eating it! When he returned to Japan, he called Brandy Farms about shipping one to him.

I miss the times my dad used to make them for the holidays.

    Awesome!
I will give McKays and Woods a shot and see if they have corned hams.

It will be my first time trying to make it, so my wife is making me try it before Christmas in case I screw it up! :D

Stuff it to your taste buds. Otherwise, McKay's also sells premade stuffing, either mild or hot. Makes the process so much easier. That is what my wife uses. I get the ham at the commissary cut to what ever size we need that year.
