Baltimore County Game and Fish Protective Assn. is having their semi annual GUN SHOW Saturday 9/4/21, 8am -3pm. $5.
Nice little show outside under the pavilion on picnic tables. Local guys, last show in April had a fair selection of ammo. I got some 22 Stingers ($15), subsonics and had a pick of different 22 magnum ($18 CCI)
Only one dealer had an FFL. I hope this show has a better guy to do transfers. The new MD NICS check law had just taken effect and guys were leery about bring their personal guns to sell.

The show is always on the Saturday before Easter and Saturday before Labor Day.

It is a nice little show. I always find something I didn't know I knew I needed. The last show it was a Hi Power.
Full disclosure, I am member and have been working the show for the last couple years.

A friend told me today that he is planning to be there Saturday, with a couple nice Anshutz, Remington 521T, 513T and a few other nice 22 target rifles.

I went in the spring and had a table selling. I bought a few things also. Nice old school small show. Nice place neat old school. Met some nice people talking and socializing. I wish they would move it to the week after Labor Day. A lot of people are doing other things on Labor Day weekend and can't make it. I can't make this one wished I could. We'll be drag racing all weekend at the Yellowbullet Nationals at Cecil County Dragway. Damn can't be both places at once. Well to all of you who can attend have a good time.

We always have the show Saturday before Labor Day and Saturday before Easter. Nobody else is doing shows those weekends so we don't have to compete for exhibitors or patrons.
It's only a one day show and some of the vendors do other shows. Usually there's no other shows those weekend so the vendors have an easy weekend with just one day where they would normally be off. We tried other weekends in the past but there were not nearly as many exhibitors as we have now.

Well, go to the show about 0645 and left about 130 as my back was killing me. It was well stocked and people had money to spend. As usual, I was giving things away at reduced prices just to get them to someone who would use them. Ran into Sundazes on the way out and a few other members whose names I didn't get. As far as I could see, i was the only one who had a MDS name tag.

A couple of the more interesting guns were a pair of really nicely done M1 carbines made into Mannlicher stock sporters. I used to make sporters out of Mausers for some years and these were really well done. The checkering was perfect, the fit was perfect and one had the closest thing to S&W custom shop bluing that I have seen. I have never seen M1 carbines moded except for some of the drop it kits that have come out from time to time. The guy who did these was an artist. The owner was asking @1400 each which I though was worth it just for the uniqueness of the rifles.

They had an FFL there who I did not recognize and he had what appeared to be maybe the latest S&W 9mm shield double stack version. I wasn't able to get a look at it as he always had someone sitting in front of him.

It was a beautiful day and I had a great time.

I was there at 8 this morning to pick up a 22 target rifle for my son. The FFL was from Rick's Gun and Pawn in Conowingo, very nice guy. And it was a beautiful day!
