This is not a paid endorsement, just my experience. Several years ago I ordered a 2300 from the Crosman custom shop. It was essentially a 2240 with some added features. I was very happy with it. In an effort to get all things air to .177 around here, I recently ordered some parts from Alchemy Airwerks to convert the .22 to .177. The main components were 10" barrel, bolt, and metal transfer/seal combo. The process took less than an hour and a single run over my chronograph stated 457FPS. Then the chrony quit. Considering the price of a new 2300T, I converted the .22 cal over to .177 for about $70. Once it get the chrony situation repaired I'll post a few pics and results.
