It' that time again Balto Co Game & Fish Fall Gun Show. Lots of dealers for a small show even has a knife maker with a forge making knives while you watch. Lots of guns, ammo and all sorts of stuff you need. Good stuff, good food and good friends. Come on out, Chris

It is a small show at the gun club but they always have some unique stuff. Don't go if you are looking to buy black rifles or pistols. If you are looking for hunting rifles and shotguns or clay shooting shotguns, you can get some good deals at this show.

The question now is, will it rain on Saturday?

This sounds like my kind of show. Any milsurp type rifles there?

Yes, they have milsurps and other collectibles every time I have been there. The issue now is the heavy rain we are expecting on Saturday. Since the display benches are just barely under the overhead, any wind will blow rain all over the goods.

I would say check their website before going in case they cancel the event.

The best deals are picked up by members before the show opens. I've got a friend that has done very well for himself, but he's a member.

Well, that's kind of a bummer. With the rain and this, I don't know if I would even try to head out.

If you're not doing anything, give it a shot. It's not that far to travel. Like you said, with the rain, what else are you going to do?

From what I just saw, it appears tomorrow will be a good day. They're saying rain won't come in until Sunday, early afternoon. I'm sure the forecast will change 10 minutes before it starts raining, but right now Saturday looks to be cloudy but no rain.

I just saw where Sunday and Monday are going to be mostly dry. I may have to get out the shooting irons those days.

I feel like I may pass on this show, especially if members snap up all the "deals" before the public even has a chance to get inside.

Good little show. Picked up a very nice 1948 Marlin 39A for the collection, I have 3 others, a 1954, 1968, & a 2010. I much prefer the older models for their fit and finish. Only draw back from the show was that some of the tables were waaay too close together. Made it hard to get up/down the aisles to see everything. Almost felt trapped sometimes. Saw a vintage Remington 700 that kept trying to call my name, but I resisted.
