The only two pics I have of this gun. Early 1950s Stevens 311A in 16-ga. 28" barrels choked full and fuller.

Why is it made in Japan?? INteresting

I have the Winchester Wildcat..I think its made by Tula arsenal. Sweet rifles

Winchester/Olin had several guns made for them in Japan over the years. The Model 101 was one of them. I think the company was Kodensha. I think Miroku made some guns for Winchester, as well.

This particular gun was made in 1971.

I took this today, it's my H&R Pardner Pump Protector 12ga.

I'd like to get a tac light for it and a 2 shot mag extender.

All steel and built like a tanks, I love it. They only cost about $200 at dicks. I think my next pump will be a rem 870 or a moss 500 tact.

Pumps rule! This is the first firearm I bought.

Need to get better pics of these two. Meet "Sarah Jessica" and "Mary Louise." Sarah is up top. She's a 28-ga. "Mary Louise," the bottom one, is a 20-ga and is currently my favorite shotgun in the herd.

They're both DHE-grade "Parker Reproductions by Winchester." The Old Man hung them over my head and taunted me with them for years, then finally, out of the blue, told me to come pick 'em up - they were mine now. Bittersweet, because, at that moment, I knew that he figured he was probably gonna die soon. :(

"Dial a Duck", LMAO...! that gun has killed more quail, pheasants, ducks and geese that any gun should be allowed. I walked many miles carrying the little Savage bird hunting with my Grandfather and Father. When I was about 16 my Grandfather bought a Belguim Browning "Sweet 16" and gave me the Model 12. I finally decided to quit shooting it regularly (couldn't bear to tear it up) and bought the Mossy. I still keep it loaded for my HD bedroom gun and clean it regularly, but I have not shot it in a couple of years at least.

The squirrels and rabbits feared the old Savage when I was a kid. It is really a fun gun and it is what I started both my sons on. Wouldn't take anything for either the Winchester or the Savage.
