Wow sounds good now let's all keep our fingers crossed they will be considerably less expensive than the agulia mini shells. I have a Opsol adapter on my moss 500 now it runs flawlessly with mini shells.

I used up all of my shorty shells this past weekend. Aguila mini-shells are dirtier than blackpowder shells. Almost no recoil out an O/U, though.

If you have a single shot I recommend you pick up a Lee Load All and a roll crimp. Cut to any length you want and make your own. Short shells are fun.

thanks...i may buy an inexpensive single to play with these

You can get a hand operated roll crimper for about $25 from Russia on ebay. I'm tempted to get one so I can pull open birdshot shells and load Lee Drive Key slugs into them. You can make a jig out of wood to trim down hulls.

When you roll your own shorties, it is very easy to customize your wad column. I normally use a plastic gas check and a fiber wad. The fiber wads can be shortened to make sure your shot or slug fit nicely at the roll crimp length you have chosen. Single shotgun will take just about any length shell I put in it.
