    It's not decided on the facts or the testimony. The rulers have already decided how we shall be protected.

    But we can stop furthere encroaching on our rights and we have a chance at real prograss.

    I think he was trying to set up a situation where LE was going out to an armed individual and taking the permit back. Thats how I took it anyway.
    McDermott didn't take it that was and derailed it by responding the way he did.

    I just got to start watching this, and boy let me tell you everything about Smiegel's bill I said is being put front and center. :(

    If I could only watch it for more than 2 minutes.

    it is creating discussion and opening dialog which is good for the other shall issue bills, maybe this was the goal all along.
