Another source that does not "Ultra Pasteurize" and has non-homogenized milk available:
    Kilby Cream

    From their FAQ page
The lady at Steamin' Mad Crabs / Loafers Dairy in Hampsted said this but I thought she had it backwards. AND they sell slices of Smith Island Cake to boot.

I am really only interested in the cream to make 'shaky-butter', and not milk.

They will raise taxes and you will arrested soon for pursuing this. The state does not tolerate you.

No sense crying over raw milk.

Only the government can approve what milk you drink. You know, for the children.

A couple of years ago, South Mountain Creamery did a Fun on the Farm thing and gave you a small vial of cream to shake, to make your own vial of butter. Check out SMC one day on a day trip. Get some of their milk to take home and eat some of their ice cream. I highly recommend their whole milk, whole chocolate milk, and eggnog (when in season). I haven't gathered up the stones to give their half and half a fair shake.
