Looks like its Gas Piston with folding stock! Looks like MPA attempt at the SIG 556.

Nah, Lose the folding stock or swap the flash suppressor to a compensator, then it's legal

The gun is not banned in Maryland all it needs is a muzzle brake and goo 2 go.

Are you sure its MD legal. As i believe the MPA rifle is a clone or copy of the leader dynamics T2 aka the Australian automatic arms Src which is on the banned list. Iirc internals are exactly the same MPA updated the design.

YES there was thread a few months ago Engagement ARms had them at the store with muzzle break to fulfill the AOL requirement

Not banned. Design is the same, but parts don't interchange.
