I have one of the cheap chinesium versions, and it works fine. I have yet to see anything interesting inside of a bore.

I just received a Tesalong wifi unit Monday. It was quite interesting looking down the barrel of my <120 round 350 Legend barrel that happened to be out for cleaning anyway. Barrel hadn't been cleaned since purchase (got it just in time for deer season and pressed it into service), and I was surprised to see the amount of metal flakes in there; I forgot to take a picture of that before I cleaned it - but I did take one afterwards and found the tool marks somewhat surprising. I know I shouldn't, it is a CMMG AR barrel - but I am looking forward to looking at something that should be more refined like my 6.5C RPR. I will admit I am terrified to look at the new to me .300 RUM....

They are very useful for aligning AR15 gas block ports, if the borescope can focus far enough away.
