I had to have a long barreled 686, but it was a disappointment.
The Sub 2000 turned out well, I really like it.

My last purchase of 2013 was an M1A. I was at Duffy’s and there to purchase a Springfield National Match. Vince said “let me show you something”. That devil whipped out a gun that was all GI parts on a Springfield receiver. Still one of my favorite guns to shoot.
He did the exact same thing to me with a new NM. But he added a mid 70's SP1... That was an expensive week.
Springfield M6 Scout, stainless, .22 Hornet / .410 that I got for around $200. The anti-salesman at Valley Gun didn't want to order it but finally did. I'm glad I got it. They're pretty hard to find now.
Missed out on one of the Walmart Special stainless green laminate 10/22's in the international (Mannlicher) style stock by an inch. Was actually making my first gun purchase and asked about the one behind the County was told it was sold (I was young and too naive to push the matter as why it was still on display) ended up with the conventional stock. Finally a couple months ago got one, circa 1994 make. Only 24+ years later. Paid way too much but wanted it.
Whoa! My first gun, bought it as soon as I turned 18 on sale at Walmart for $125 back in 1997 and it was the last one they had. Still have it too. Unfortunately I was young and dumb and changed a few things with it, but still have the original stock.
International or conventional? Loved those Walmart Exclusive guns interesting that they have become mildly collectible.
