    Really good read, I've always thought the wonderful sound of racking a slide or pumping a shotgun was more than enough to let someone know they're in the wrong house. :)

    Reminder that the Kates/Mauser Harvard Gun Study came out in 2007, it is not new. The data still stands however. Just remember it is pre Heller, Newtown, VT, etc.

    The correlations with the UK are good, wording is key. Violent Crime & Homicide should be the parameters for comparison. Don't get caught up in comparisons that only use "Shooting Deaths" or "Mass Muders" or the new "Mass Shootings" as the bar.
