The Vepr rifles use vepr specific magazines. If you install a bullet guide, you can use standard AK mags

Damn, that sounds pike a no brainer :party29:

I really dont know much about this platform, but its time for a crash course. Sounds like a fun gun.

It is a fun gun! Nice little round. I love mine.

If you like the AK platform in general, you'll love the 5.45x39 VEPR. If you have never messed with the AK platform, you'll love the 5.45x39 VEPR. If you've never shot a rifle before, ... what do you think I'd say? Well, no. Get some training, then you'll love the 5.45x39 VEPR.

Everything is backwards here, someone could put it up for review, but I think that'll also risk maybe losing them?

The Veprs are legal for a different reason as well. As long as they remain in an unmodified configuration eligiblke for US import, then they are not regulated in MD per MSP bulletin 96-1.

Then adding the American bullet guide , American furniture and trigger assembly should bring it to 922r therefore making it compliant
    Or so I thought
