Sounds great! My better half has been joining me on my little tippy-toe fish outings so far; but she refused to get a license. Good chance I can get her to join us on this little adventure you have planned, thanks for the invite. My buddy (and his daughter) are taking us somewhere to fish on Thursday; but most any weekend is good for me. My schedule should be much more open after the first week in September.

Just go ahead and get her a license, they're very cheap for MD residents and will expire 1 year from the date of purchase instead of at the end of the calendar year. Getting caught without a license can come with big penalties.

Just bumping this to find out if you've hooked yourself yet.

    ;)

    Ha!

Nope not yet. I've lost some good bait and lures though. I've upgraded my line, and bought some new fishing gear, but I haven't been out (too hot and too busy) in a while.

I plan to hit it again when the weather cools down a bit, likely in September. License is good year round, do people fish in cold months?

I also purchased a new toy, been riding it around almost daily; read my post in the thread on motorcycle insurance.

People do fish when it gets colder, you just have to change your tactics and change your bait to fish that feed in colder months.

How's the fishing been? Any plans for this year?

    Did you do this yet?

Even if you don't go out fishing within the year, it is good to know that you could. You also have the knowledge that your money towards the cost of the license goes towards helping to manage Maryland fisheries.
