Every time I shoot a Mosin, I'm like "Man, if this only had a pistol grip and a adjustable buttstock"

If my Mosin had rails for a VFG, laser, IR illuminator, EOTech, and 45 degree offset BUIS, then I could use it for all my CQB hostage rescue and dynamic entry stuff at least when my Mom isn't home.

It's an M91 at that, bubba has no shame.

If y'all weren't upset already get ready. That blurry "m" on the rear sight is how the Finn's denoted meters on Russian captured M91 rear sight. To confirm I found the item on completed auctions on GunBroker (no takers wonder why....). It turns out this was a Finnish captured Westinghouse M91. The boxed SA stamp is hard to see but it's there. Needless to say I'm livid someone would do this to a Westinghouse, a Finnish capture one I have no words
Warning not for the faint of heart:

I'm thankful I don't won anything ugly enough to post here. Though some of these look like fun. Just don't admit doing it yourself.
As for M91s. Just remember they are today's equivalent to Mausers in the 1950s thru '60s. There were millions, most unremarkable, not in great condition, and of no collector value to most. So Bubba had no idea what he was destroying. My buddy wants me to refinish my K-43 because it is rough and ugly. Refinishing would take a $3500 rifle and make it a $1200 rifle. But he insists a polish, cold blue, and a shiny True Oil finish would would increase the value. You can take Bubba to the library but, he may only look at the pictures. Oh, shiny, good! TACTICOOL!!!!!

Bwahhhahhha. OK... with all the crap going on in the world, I needed a good laugh.... and I found it.

This is a Savage Model 101, which if you didn't know, is a faux revolver. It is actually a single shot, single action, designed as a boy's gun. I have one in my collection, it is fun, but about one step above pot metal. Ok for 30-40 foot plinking at cans.... that's its purpose in life. Someone obviously wanted this one to be a little bit more :-)

Starting bid at $175 if you are interested (no judgement from me) :D

Oh... the scope is mounted to the barrel. To load this gun, you have to rotate the barrel and the "cylinder" 90 degrees clockwise, so with every single shot, you would have to rotate the scope out of plane and back on... I'm SURE it will hold a zero after 2 or 3 rounds :-)

If it started life with a stock, I don't believe you can turn it into a handgun... I'm not sure how this one would be viewed since the frame started life as a pistol, but the chamber/barrel started life as a rifle. Beats me.

I kinda lean toward as long as a gun wif a barrel that's sub-16 ain't got no stock on it, then nobody can really call it a SBR.

    I'll play... does un-bubba-ing count?

    Here they are:

Vz-52 picked up as bubba then resto modes and converted to x39

Chinese type 53 again picked up as a bubba and went through a couple phases

Vz 24 that had a crap tastic bore that I converted to 45acp
