I still submit that you can have these issues while following book loads to the letter. CZs, for example, are known to sometimes have short-ish throats that cause problems with book loads. You will probably also see less drama if you're sticking with the big quality factory pistols - Glocks, M&Ps, etc.On that we completely agree.
It's possible that the reason I've never had an issue is because I'm not trying to do anything different - I just want to load good ammo that shoots well and saves me some money, and to that end I've succeeded pretty well. I am pretty careful about it though.
