Must look nice with that BMW and the mailbox you bought

Lol. I’m trying to get her to paint the mailbox under the driver’s window soon. Can’t wait to post it.

I got this just before we got the dog. My last gun for a while, but a nice one, IMHO. It's new, so not as smooth as my Mossberg, but really cool, and kinda futuristic.

Very nice Sirex. For years, Benelli had a trade in program to "upgrade" to a Nova and for years I contemplated trading in an older 500 that I had. Kind of wish I'd done it.

After 10 months received my DVHorn 28ga 21” stainless barrel for my TC Contender. OAL 35” 4lb 15oz w/ sling. I’ll eventually get it bead blasted to match the frame, & other barrels.

Got my Turknelli M4 (aka SDS S4) on Friday. The Mesa Urbino stock fits it fine with a 8-1.25x25 screw, and it really makes it far more comfortable. Need to take it out for function test...

Cost me $400 + ship + tax + transfer from Atlantic Firearms, which is about 1/4-1/5 of a real Benelli M4. It is a mostly legit clone - there's a few subtle differences (shape of the trigger guard, the recoil spring tube cuts, maybe the barrel lug), but it's a remarkably close copy. Of course, that doesn't make it durable or reliable, so I plan to be running it hard at the Green Ops shotgun class the first Sunday in December to really put it to the test.

That looks really nice. I have always wanted a M4, but they are so much money, and I wouldn't shoot it that much to justify it probably. Battlefield Las Vegas had a thread somewhere, either Shotgun World, or AR15.com where they discussed the usage of shotguns at their range, and all fell apart except the Benelli M4. I had considered getting a clone, SDS S4, Toros Arms M4, or Charles Daly 601 and slowly swapping the guts with Benelli parts. I have a M3 clone and it runs well, but not as nice as my M2, but it works. Let us know how it does, I am interested in these.

Very nice. How do you like the Comfortech stock, and how well does it absorb some of the recoil? I just bought a Comfortech stock, but haven't used it yet.

Ahh heck I don’t know! It feels comfortable to me, it points really well in my hands and that’s where it counts!

    I just bought one too.

Still waiting for Atlantic firearms to ship it out to my ffl. I got the SDS s4.

Replacing the furniture with the mesa tactical odg urbino stock set and sidesaddle.

I have an original m4 and have a 14” entry model in NFA jail. But I wanted a beater gun. Hoping that this will work in that role. Looking forward to your review.

Thanks to SCARCQB for posting the Benelli. One of my favorites. I added an RMR on a Scalarworks mount and love it.

Took the SDS S4 out today. 100% function with buck. A little pickier about birdshot, albeit it was great with Federal - suspect it needs a Benelli extractor assembly to fix that. No evidence of peening or other deformation on the pistons or bolt carrier. Recoil was in line with my expectations (ie, lighter than my Stoeger M3K / Benelli M2 clone).

If you add anything else to that, you may have to redefine it as a crew served weapon :D

When you replaced the original fixed stock with a mesa tactical urbino stock , is there any modification that needs to be done ? Does the factory stock screw off like the original Benelli ? I’m replacing the furniture on mine with an ODG urbino.

    Thanks for your help.

At least on my S4, it just went on. You will need to source an appropriate shorter screw, though - at least with mine, it didn't quite screw in for whatever reason.

My understanding is that on the SDS Tac-12, though, you would need to replace the recoil spring tube, because that one comes with some sort of non-standard tube designed for the Turkish collapsing stock.

Well, not really porn, but opening day a couple weeks ago. A borrowed gem, completely utilitarian, not the prettiest girl at the party, but she’s dead balls accurate out to 70-80y offhand with just a bead and sluggers. Stoeger 350 NWTF prize.

I’ve never been a Stoeger fan. But this one shoots well. I’ve used it for several seasons over the years and been successful every year.
