I had a 140"++ walk by my stand at first light at 25 yds. Unfortunately I was gun hunting does today(and only saw bucks) so no bow-no shot.

Oh. Never heard of being limited like that before.

Yes, they will assign a quantity and some times a sex to it. Crop damage they might say you get 10 does for agricultural. Since the purpose is to reduce deer numbers there. removing females only reduces herd size for years.

I have seen orchards get the same thing but bucks only, spikes and larger. As the damage is only caused by the males from rubs.

Shot this guy on my property behind my house on Thursday with my crossbow @ 45 yards. He jumped the string and I hit him back just a bit and caught the liver. Did not retrieve him till yesterday. Been watching him for over a week.

Christmas tree farms get the same deal.

Very nice! The length of those antlers is pretty stunning.

I got my deer back from KS Kuts yesterday. They're pretty fantastic. Got my skull cap, grabbed a cheap-o pot from the grocery store on the way home and set to work on the camp stove after dinner.

Here's the results of my first attempt at a mount. I think I did alright:

Brand new Matthews bow she had bought the day before, sighted it in that morning. She said as she released he turned his body and instead of a heart shot she caught him through and through the jugular. He dropped in less than 30 seconds and 75 feet away
