I was looking at getting the version without the date window, but haven't seen one in person. How is the size on wrist? Most reviews make mention of how "big" it is.

I measure the case at 43mm most of which is dial but don't think it looks or feels too large, maybe because of its relatively thin case. It feels like a SMP on the wrist.

The oddity about this watch is that the bracelet and strap models have different lugs making it hard or impossible go back and forth between the two. Which seems dumb.

Thanks. I did go ahead and buy the no-date, polished case version which came on a black nylon faux-NATO strap. I swapped that out with a leather NATO and have been wearing it for about a week now.

This version also has a different "retro" logo font. Odd how many different versions there are with only minor detail changes.

“Two is one and one is none”..picked up this speedy at a duty free shop while traveling internationally over this past weekend.

Been on my list a while and got an absolute steal on it, box and papers included. Never haggled so hard in my life but it paid off. Also did not have to pay tax on it which saved me a few bones.

I’m new to wearing a watch. I got this Fossil a while back and I like it, but the leather band has to go. Are metal replacement bands compatible with the leather band watches?

Very nice! Is that a 16613? A buddy of mine got a used one for a STEAL about 10 years ago (for about 3K)
Not big on gold/silver two tone watches but that is absolutely stunning in person. That blue on the Rolex is the perfect blue IMO.
