I haven’t verified if it’s law or not but signs are going up that say no firearms within 1000 feet of today’s event. If you have a legit CCW be mindful.

Best to just avoid the area CCW or not.

7-2509.07 i think is the code

Maryland's language about this always baffles me. It reads like you can't CC within 1000 feet of a public demonstration ... AFTER a police officer has told you that it's the sort of public gathering where CC-ing isn't allowed. What, for example, is a legit MD W&C holder supposed to do if they walk out their front door within a thousand feet of the PP Ice Cream Sociology Experiment on a day like today? That's clearly a public demonstration, but I doubt there will be any MoCo cops walking around telling people they can't carry. So, always ambiguity (which is how the MGA and the MSP like it, I suppose).

Here's the DC statute. CCW will definitely get you an arrest and the DC order is legal according to the statute

The DC law is not ambiguous IMO. Violations will get you arrested.
