In the reviews someone said "Only thing is the lower is marked for .223 cal but it is a .556 barrel".

No, because it's a 5.56 chambered barrel so you can shoot .223 or 5.56 out of it.
Not a good idea to do the reverse and shoot 5.56 out of a .223 chambered barrel, slightly tighter dimensions. You can Google 5.56 .223 chambers and get a ton of info on this.
For some reason Colt has always stamped this model .223 but it is a 5.56 barrel.
Wow, I ordered a 6721 from SOS last week for $799 and then they dropped the price to $749. Because I lack any form of self control I ordered another 6721 at $749 and asked if they would refund me $50 on the one I ordered the week prior for $800, fully expecting them to say "no" but I figured I'd at least ask nicely anyway. Much to my surprise they are giving me $50 in store credit which they are applying to the second rifle purchase!
