Leaving the known for the unknown is an emergency reaction.

Semper Gumby is almost always a sound approach.

While I’d certainly have an E&E plan or plans, I don’t know that I’d commit now for something that’s yet unclear. Being ready is different than pulling the trigger.

I’m not going anywhere but then I’m already the last place I’ll be...unless I go up the hill or across the way for a bit...

I think “hunker down” is the best bet for anyone not staring bedlam in the face.

As long as my mail in ballot arrives in time I plan on heading out during the election. Anyone else planning the same?
I've been in communication with my neighbors, some of whom are armed. We'll work together to protect the area should that be necessary.

Luckily, I live in a semi-rural area. ANTIFA/BLM types may not be interested, but if so, we'll be prepared.

Bug out?? No, we are old, we are staying and just do the best we can to protect ourselves. My wife said to me the other day, you know I think we had a fullfilled life, I do not want to be enslave by anybody just because we think differently. I told her "damn lady, you are ready" but i'll be here with you come what may.

I signed up and get random emails about them scheduling training. With the reduced locations I can only work at one of them due to the rest being public school no go zones.

Going in the morning, in person, and then going home. Why would I go anywhere? I already live in the country. Not to mention, I will never let those communist drive me from my land. Yes, I might get buried on it, but......my body will still be here so I win! LOL!

My guess is that the election will be held up in the courts such that things cant be certified and the house will vote for President. One vote per state and there are more red states.

I already voted and will be at work that day. I don't think anything will happen like a zombie apocalypse type of scenario. There will be unhappy people no matter what. The possibility of violence is high but not apocalyptic.

Having some friends up the week of election. Maryland better not get all apolyptic. I've never given an armed escort to friends to get the hell out, but there's always a first

    Now in Tennessee ,
Over the last few days I've seen articles from all over about people leaving mostly cities so not to get caught up in the aftermath , Saw a article were in NYC the Ultra Rich that are still there are hiring off duty police and arming them to guard the high end expensive properties they live in , Same for some of the expensive neighborhoods in areas in Florida and California all said that no matter who wins there will be problems . I'm were I would bug out to and out here in the sticks really don't think I'll see any problems . But I'll remain vigilant

Saw that. Guards with machine guns and snipers on the roofs. The liberals protecting themselves from the liberals. What a laugh!

It's pretty much a safe bet that every city with a Koreatown will be safe from rioters and looters. The Roof Koreans will be out defending their own...and the rioters know it from past experience. There's a teachable moment in there somewhere.

    Already voted early.
Business as usual. Just not making any appointments over there among you urbanites. If things go sideways in MD I can just watch it on tv from here.
    Good luck.
