Dang, that's one of the last things on my list of guns to get. I do own a bolt gun, but it's a nice wood stocked 700 CDL. And it will shoot some nice, tight groups but it's not tactical.

Mtairy Biker, does that rifle have a "bipod rail" under the forend. That pot belly stock and adjustable comb scream "NRA Match Rifle" to me.

that is a mcmillian 40X modified stock and it does have a rail you can put a bypod on it it is meant for a sling for NRA HIGH Power (match rifle). I have it set up now with a lepold 6.5X 20 and a bipoid for ground hogs . I no longer shoot high power.

Damn I love that gun, just wish I could find the .300 win mag version! I may have to buckle for a .308 one but I have that territory fairly well covered. (The Gunsite Scout above was an impulse buy).
According to Savage, the 10 series only comes in either .223 Rem or .308 Win.
I don't think they make it in .300 Win Mag

They made in in .300 in 2008/2009 and discontinued it. Still a few pop up on GB from time to time. I think the last one I saw was a lefty though.

Yes I know but they did do the FCP-K on a 110 in 300 its just discontinued. Still can probably get it custom (at custom prices)
