If you're just using it to set a powder measure and/or do periodic safety checks, pretty much any of the beam scales will do that.

The Lee safety scale does work. Had one, agreed with all my other scales. Ended up selling it just because I had too many scales.

My personal preference is any of the standard Ohaus made dampened beam-scales. RCBS, Dillon, etc

You do not have to measure every single charge. If you have a good metering powder in a good measure, no need to measure other than as an initial safety check.

weight started to go crazy sent it back, they then paid shipping, bothways, gave me a brand new scale, all new assesseries.

turns out that a cell phone or a flourscent light will interupt with the sale..

RCBS 505, which is made by Oahaus. Oahaus makes balance scales for a few other companies, like Lyman.

Have no issues with the 505, and it is very accurate.

Also have an RCBS partner electronic scale. Cant say Im a big fan of that scale - my balance beam, is far more accurate.

MTM digital. Got it cheap after I messed with my RCBS balance scale and no longer trust it. Oops.
