Fortress Training is saying on FB that some "BIG" thing its going to be released tomorrow regarding Md. Permit holders and he say big as in good ...But won't say what it is ??? What is it fellows
The way the guy is saying it , it is a state thing ?? If he is just doing a marketing ploy i will un-follow them .
Don't need that on my FB feed .

He was making it seem like it's only an announcement that matters for people with a permit. If he's not blowing smoke, maybe they're getting rid of the restrictions? I dunno.
I positively refuse to hope for anything at all like that.
I expect it to be something more along the lines of, "Good news, everybody! Permit renewal fees will only be going up by 100% instead of 200%!"
I wasn't born a cynical bastard, but Maryland has turned me into one.
Maybe they're just excited about the return of the HPRB and the meeting on the 17th, which gets the new board rolling, complete with some likely positive (for us) members:

I am thinking this as well , not a structural change in the way permits are issued . The guy at Fortress said it is a state message or update
I hope Finnessy isn't the Mr. H of 2019.
Looks like Fortress removed the video from FB , would someone be so kind to check and see if it is still there I can't find it .

Took me 5 hrs, but I got it.
My educated guess is that it was pure speculation and wishful thinking. We have seen training outfits make "news" before to drive business, *cough*Hagerstown Herald-Mail*cough*. Maybe Dead Maryland will not run with it this time.

Tell me about it. I mean it literally should be any day now. If I dont hear back by next Friday I'm gonna be disappointed. That would be over 90 days. Some say they got theirs fast some say they got theirs 120 days. Who knows. I'd rather not call them, I feel like they would move my application to the bottom or something lol
Meanwhile....I'm driving through Lancaster County right now where it takes a whole whopping literally TWENTY FVCN MINUTES to get a carry permit.
MSP is a complete joke, I don't miss many opportunities to educate others about their constant ********.
