    Yes, I know it is unlikely to pass the Senate this year, but downtream....

    Reading the text of the bill, it makes no exception for holders of FFL03 licenses. In other words, the whole country would be like New Jersey -- all sales through FFL01 dealers. The only utility left for the license would be for a face to face purchase of a C&R handgun at an out of state dealer.

    Think I'm going to let mine expire this year.

    Agreed, or sometimes silly laws like this create “solutions” in search of a problem.
