I am not a member of AGC but would love to see/use the facilities at the shoot tomorrow. What procedures do I need to follow? Whom to contact, etc.

Do you know how to get to the AGC? I'd say just show up at the main 100 yard range and look for the guys shooting clangers with .22s. Ask "Are you from MDS?", introduce yourself and just put your charm and personal magnetism to work.

It looks like Tball, Damifinowfish, et alii have extended a general invitation to MDS members to shoot as guests. In other words, you're invited. Your best bet is probably to get there before 9:00 (when shooting starts). Say 8 or 8:30. Look for a few guys setting up clangers out at 100 yards, and standing around socialising.

If I get there by 9, it'll be early for me. After an entire week of serious sleep deprivation, Saturday is my day to sleep past sunup. I am planning to get out there about 9 or so, then shoot in an M1 Carbine match later.

I'll be the guy shooting prone with iron sights while everyone else is shooting from the bench with scopes.

Looks like fun. Only .22 rounds are allowed to shoot steel at AGC, right?

Didn't really get your photo. I thought you were kidding, so I made that up so I could say I stole your soul.

You're ok, and we are good. You are still welcomed to destroy my targets any time.

This is just a pet peeve of mine. Some A hole always seems to want to take picture of me working with Juniors then ask if its ok!

Hell No! you ask before taking pictures of kids. Especially on a gun range. I've come to the conclusion that they must be the worst type of perverts! I can't wait till I see my picture posted some where with out my signed photo release. I'll have a field day with them.

In my studies in school taking someones picture with out their authorization is a form of assault.

    rant's over
    sorry

As a photographer for 40 years, you get better photos if you shoot first, then asked for permission. Now with digital you just erase the ones not wanted. If I ask first, the people pose, then I have to play director for 20 minutes and still don't get the shot I could have if I just grabbed that genuine moment. Sorry, it is an inherent problem with the trade and a part I am not fond of.

Bike breath You are a fine professional and I have no problem with you. It is with other A holes I have told not to take my picture with Kids, and Guns. They seem to continue. One day I will loose my patients an they will pay the price!

I'm afraid of the cameras. No pictures!

Damifinowfish, The picture that I posted above does have your shadow in the lower left corner. Fortunately, there are no youths in the picture (unless you count the small zombie clanger) so no issues for you at school or work. And while this picture was not enough to steal your soul......I do now have your Mojo stored in my iPhone. I'll let you know the $$$ to get it back. :)
