    Well,
I'm here. Been shooting, hunting since I was a kid. Sorry that the quail have gotten scarce but that's progress. I'm in South Carroll Cnty and any consensus on a range to shoot at? Pro's and Con's.
I like what I see here.
    Lot's of positive attitude.

haha - gotta love the conservative rhetoric, hate for .40 cal, et cetera!

Conservative opinions are par for the course if you believe in individual rights and freedom. It is possible to be a nanny state liberal and support the right to keep and bear arms--several people here are that way--but it's fairly rare.

As for the .40, the "hate" is what happens when a new, somewhat controversial cartridge is coupled, even jokingly, with a lifestyle that generates the kind of resentment brought about by special interest groups and the government shoving political correctness down the throats of people who'd rather be left alone.

    Welcome!

I would suggest checking out the range facilities at the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore (AGC www.associatedgunclubs.org) and then deciding to join one of the 30 some clubs that meet there.

My personal recommendation would be Monumental Rifle & Pistol (www.monumental.org) but I am biased. Arlington, Garrison and Homewood would be my alternate choices for various reasons.

    Just my $0.02!
