What the salary or hourly rate I know a marine
Rotary wing mechanic who might be interested?

For the assembly position I believe the the starting pay is $15-16 (I am not 100% sure though). His skill set might be above what this job entails.

OP, do you have an in a MRAS? I've considered applying but I've been told that engineering work there is less than exciting.

I am a Manufacturing Engineer at MRAS, Sending a PM.

Thanks for the info. I work over in Frederick as an A&P Assembler at Triumph Aerospace, and the factory is closing this fall. There may be a few of us looking for work up that way.

Middle River Aircraft is a great place to work. Total team atmosphere. The engineering department has talent and good mangement. The company needs new skilled hourly workers.

I second that MRAS is a great place to work. I had occasion to work with their engineers over thirty years and I don't think I ever met anyone who wasn't happy there. Their main work used to be on jet engine thrust reversers but they branched out to making spars for the P3 horizontal stab and also reworking engine intakes for Boeing.

This might be a good job for someone who's just starting out and Young. From what I understand it's about 14 to $16 an hour and last I saw they were hiring for third shift.

I worked there 30 plus years, they never missed a pay check. I was always able to provide (food and house) for my family. The benefits are ok they are owned by General Electric and have a 401k plan for retirement.

There are several female engineers there. They want aircraft design, stress and weight engineers. Best to get on the General Electric web site look under careers and use the filters for Maryland ( since you want her home) and see what they are hiring. There are other departs they were hiring engineers for like procurement and Manufacturing engineering where they would interact with the supply base to get cost out or enhance design of their mechanical parts. Its a good starting area. They do want graduates with at least 3.0 GPA.
