The thing is, an axe with an edge that fine on it wouldn't hold up in chopping for very long. The edge would get folded over (rounded) and it would not chop well after that.

Completely understand and agree. I was simply commenting on the sharpness of the axe. To me, this is freaky. I have never seen an axe this sharp.
