I was possibly thinking about getting a lwrc uppper for my AR and was wondering what people think about them.

A buddy has one, he loves it. From my limited experience with it, they appear well made if you're into piston-driven uppers. One limiting aspect is, as far as I understand, they are a PITA to change barrels on.

I haven't ever played with one of their DI uppers.

I’m a huge fan of LWRC. Their CHF barrels are incredibly accurate.

Pic of mine just because. DI, not piston.

I don't think you'd be disappointed, everyone I know that has one of their DI guns really likes them. I have one of their piston SBRs, have had it 11 yrs now and can't recall ever having any malfunctions. Fit and finish always seem really nice on their products.

If you decide to get one, I'd recommend waiting until they do one of their website sales. They do several throughout the year, usually on all the big holidays, and uppers are usually 20% off. Worth waiting for to save a few Benjamins.
