The FBI has arrested three alleged members of a white supremacist group on federal gun charges and other alleged crimes, according to people familiar with the matter.

The charges, expected to be unsealed Thursday, grew from an investigation of a somewhat new effort among online extremists who refer to themselves as “the Base,” which is the English translation of “al Qaida.” According to experts who track hate groups, the Base promotes racist views and seeks to unite different hate groups in preparation for a “race war.”

At least one of the individuals was arrested in Maryland, these people said. Federal law enforcement officials moved on the trio partly out of concerns they might engage in violence at a gun rights rally planned for Monday in Richmond, these people said.

I fail to see how any group could ignite a “race war” in RVA on Monday.

I’m gonna file this under BS the Dems are using to support their BS narrative.

I don't know how people can even consider something to be racist today as color doesn't mean anything. Today I watched Glory online and my black side came to the surface. Later I filled out a form for something and for ethnicity I checked Black as I feel black today. :innocent0

For the record, the 54th Massachusetts had “colored” troops, but their officers were white. Would that make them white nationalists for their America First actions against the CSA?

I’ve yet to encounter a “white nationalist” at any 2A event, rally, club, class or competition. It’s simply an extension of the Left’s fantastical narrative that gun owners and rural residents are inferior, uneducated, racist clingers.

I am so sick of hearing about "White Nationalists". The left wouldn't recognize one if they were sitting right next to them because it would be a doppelganger of themselves.

Shameful overreach and abuse of power.

I would love to read the CV's of the "experts who track hate groups".

But then again, my avitar is a Confederate flag, so...

The FBI has little credibility now. Makes little sense other than intimidation. Probably arrested themselves.

    Besides it is Lobbying.

In a van, down by the river.
    From CNN (yeah I know)
    "Weapon allegations
According to court documents, in November Lemley ordered a gun part online, and last month, along with Mathews, built a functioning assault rifle using that part.
Lemley and Matthews allegedly purchased some 1,650 rounds of ammunition earlier this month, and practiced using the assault rifle at a gun range in Maryland, where FBI agents had set up a hidden camera to secretly record them as they practiced shooting, according to a criminal complaint."

Now I wonder which range(s) they have under constant surveillance...
And was the part that "80% autosear" at prepperdepot?

I guess I'm in even more trouble, then, if that number is somehow scary.

Regardless... what "part" are they talking about? Were these guys prohibited in some way? "Journalism" for the win, here.

Why bother with surveilling ranges when they have most of the population under passive surveillance 24/7.

I know such statements used to be relegated to the tinfoil kingdom, but just considering information that is publicly available is enough to conclude active surveillance is just window dressing for the trial.

There was some sort of incident/shooting/robbery of recent times. I forget what one. But the shooter was able to be tracked linking cameras together for 24 hours prior to the criminal act with the exception of 17 minutes.
