Though I have several others for special occasions or limited occasional wear, this is my EDC watch. Looks great with a T-shirt and jeans or pants and sport coat.

A buddy of mine got a used one for a STEAL about 10 years ago (for about 3K) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd be interested in removing the back and taking a look around at his $3k TT Sub. 10 years ago as well as today an as-new version of a 16613 was valued at ~$9-10k ;)

A beauty. I gotta get mine fixed. Mainspring broke.

Send it back to the RSC in New York. General service like that is likely ~$5-600 and the watch will be returned looking like new along with a new service warranty. Good luck....

I know how much they are but It’s 100% real. The guy he bought it from was a coworker of his and has some really nice watches and was trying to move it. (I almost bought a Glashutte chrono from him last year, he wanted $1,800 for it)
To this day he regrets letting it go for so cheap. My friend still has it, I keep trying to get him to sell it to me for what he paid Hasn’t worked yet, lol.

To be honest it has some nicks and scratches. It has been sent to Omega a couple of times in the past and is due for another touch up.

Picked up another vintage Seiko the other night. Yes, I did meet a stranger in a parking lot at 830 on a Sunday night to buy a watch.

Seiko 5 Actus SS from May, 1972.

Just bought my first automatic watch. It’s an invicta 29182. Looks just like a Rolex date just. Now I’m trying to see if anyone has a spare watch winder collecting dust. Thanks in advance.

I can’t help with the watch winder, but congratulations on the Invicta! I have an Invicta auto I bought years ago. It’s pictured 3 posts up.
