The old Savage 110 in 270 is no more. Barrel is removed and waiting on the new Shilen barrel in 280 AI. Headspace gauges came in yesterday. The dies came in the day before. Excited about this, been wanting to do it for years and just never got around to it.

I also have a 280 Ackley . It is a real nice shooter . There are a ton of good 7mm bullets to chose from.

Thats what I'm hoping Biker. Gonna try loads for the Nosler etip and Hornady GMX bullets to start. Excited about it

I wound up using the Nosler 140 ballistic tips . By mine is used for a hunting load so some of the strictly target bullets were out . think I am using 4831 SC
