And this is why Maryland needs to go shall issue. A piece of chicken is not worth anyone's life. And the fact the police are hoping the stabber turns himself in says everything you need to know about the odds of the guy getting caught.

OXON HILL, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A fight over someone cutting in line lead to a fatal stabbing Monday night at a Maryland Popeyes.

Prince George's County Police say they received reports of a fight at a Popeyes location in the 6200 block of Livingston Road in Oxon Hill on Monday at around 7 p.m.

According to police, the fight initially began in line when a man cut in front of another man and then the altercation escalated and spilled outside where one of the men was stabbed.

"We have been able to determine, preliminarily, that this is related to the release of the sandwich here at this restaurant... this individual was in line specifically for the sale of the sandwich when another customer and he got into an altercation and that ended with the victim being stabbed outside of the business," said PGPD Director of Media Relations Jennifer Donelan late Monday.

Why aren't there 27 separate cell phone videos out there with this? The line must have been full of fools with video capability.

What that article fails to point out is that the deceased came into the store and just felt entitled to keep cutting to the front of the line. Do stupid things..... and I don’t believe we have heard the full story.

Does the Maryland judicial case search site say the "victim" was a good family man and productive member of society?

Let's face it. They fought because the "victim" was disrespectful and probably ran his mouth. The other guy doing the stabbing was just a little crazier.
