Just received my Trijicon MRO that I ordered from Cabela’s but the optic doesn’t look right. I’m wondering if anybody can compare with the one pictured. It’s like the Lens is sitting crooked. On one side there is no threading left but the other side has at least 1/4 threading left. Hard to tell in the picture but can’t miss it while your holding it.

Don't worry, I flipped out and contacted 2a about returning my MRO because I noticed the same thing. Then I googled the issue and discovered the first item on the MRO FAQ.

I will make no claims that you are in good company, but you definitely aren't alone in noticing.

I’m putting my MRO on top of a CZ Scorpion Carbine. I’m going to look into a Kinetic Development Mount. You guys been happy with it?

    The mount or the MRO?

I couldn't be happier with the MRO on my scar.. using a vortex magnifier and the setup is  for my needs. The simplicity and ease of adjustment were a big draw for me.

As others have cited, totally normal.

I like the MRO better than the Aimpoint micros; it feels less like you are looking through a tube than the Aimpoints do.

I'll probably pick up another for a different rifle.

Where is the cheapest place to get these currently? ( no mount )
Dvor is usually cheap. Cheapest place I saw advertised recently was primary arms for about $370. Not the cheapest I've ever seen it but they ship fast. Gunprodeals has them for $360. I've never bought from them before though.

When I bought my acog, b&h had the best prices by far and they shipped next day for free. Great folks to do business with and always worth a stop if in midtown manhattan
