Just arrived from Denmark, have been talking to the designer Mikkel Willumsen for the better part of a year as he started production on a few of his designs, this is one of the first hundred made. I'm a sucker for CF and Ti flippers, the pocketed 4 peice frame design is cool, and unique in that the show and lock side look almost the same.

Very nice! What type of blade steel is it? Price?

it's "only" D2, but have been happy with that steel when done right, believe it's just ingot D2 not the CPM version. Through Willumsen directly it's $185(preorder was cheaper) through Urban Tactical's facebook page /paypal, some 3rd party retailers are jacking the price up though as the first run is supposed to be limited to 300 pieces.

I have a Bastinelli/LionSteel in D2 and I like it a lot. Edge seems to be plenty durable and D2 is supposed to be easy peasy to sharpen. It seems to be very popular among European knifemakers.

I was looking at some different Willumsen knives online. Yes, I was seeing mostly $400-600 but not of that particular model you posted.

My two new Griptilian EDCs. I never bought a Benchmade before because I hate the butterfly logo. I was ok with the genital crab on Spyderco though.

I really like the grey Griptilian 551-1.

Strange that companies have been selling the Griptilians as discontinued. I picked up a couple more at those prices.
Makes me wonder if they're coming out with an upgrade soon.

Not a work of art...more of a work horse. My neighbor just came back from India and gave me this for watching his house for a few weeks. Cottage industry, no name but sturdy, sharp, and durable.

    Added another EDC:

Zero Tolerance Rexford KVT Titanium Folding Knife. This knife is built like a tank or a brick shit-house as my grandfather used to say. The action is so smooth and blade is razor sharp. I love the opening mechanism, but closing it is not as easy as the Benchmade Axis lock. It weighs 5.6 oz, but I think it’s worth it. It might be the nicest folder I’ve ever used.

EDC - Spyderco Dragonfly 2 Salt Lightweight with serrated edge. It is under the 2 1/2" limit for the Fed building I work in.

Just tonight I ordered a Spyderco Salt 2 with plain edge for use on the boat. It's a little bigger and a little handier but with the 3" blasé it is too big for my day job.

FWIW - Spyderco has a heck of a discount program for active & retired law enforcement, fireman and military. I got them directly from Spyderco for half of their list price.

Found this in the back of the safe.
An old West German Edge Mark fixed blade knife.
Any idea if this has any value?

Not a scratch on that glossy blade...
