    I answered with a yes.

Personally I really don't think it's appropriate to have "sanctuary cities" at all since it's just disregarding state and federal laws, but if we can get constitutional carry and no fees for 2A rights, I'm all for it.

I also agree that it's sad that it's come to this. At least this sanctuary is for a Constitutionally protected right.

I disagree with local government pre-emption. Either we are a nation of laws, or we are a mob.

    You mean like The Constitution?

    Yeah, I like the Constitution.

I don't much care for localities deciding whether they're going to obey the law, or pull this "sanctuary" BS. Allowing serial felons to avoid arrest and deportation by ICE is particularly egregious.

I don't see an advantage for "our" side in mirroring this behavior. Actually it's hard to believe that it can go on at all.

Why even bother with having a police department if the laws are subject to the whim of the mob? Apparently Baltimore PD is coming to the same conclusion; officers are leaving, and not surprisingly, no one is stepping up to fill the empty slots.

For that matter, why even have a legislature, when they pass laws that the courts won't enforce, and when they pass laws that are blatantly unconstitutional, with no pushback.

Soon we'll be back to the Might Makes Right method of social control; vigilante justice, and all the trimmings of a dysfunctional anarchy.
