My Colt Ar-15 9mm Carbine I just picked up this past weekend at the Frederick Silverado show...

    1.jpg

Here it is with my Olympic Arms Carbine in .45 ACP I've owned since the early '90s. It doesn't have the fit and finish of a Colt but it's never malfunctioned and is extremely accurate and that give it a beauty all its own...

    5.jpg

I have about a dozen AR/M4 rifles and carbines in various configurations in .22LR, 5.56 and 7.62...most are Colt plus this one OlyArms and a couple of Armalite AR-10s...a carbine and a target model.

Your comment made me think of an idea. Maybe we should officially change the name of the 45acp round to 45 Trump. Talk about causing seizures amongst the Liberal crowd.

Here, I made this for you.

After building more AR uppers than I care to admit, and honestly becoming bored with them. I decided to build another big bore since I still miss my .50Beo (it's borderline overkill, and that's why I liked it). Decided to go with a caliber I haven't had yet, .450 Bushmaster.

Set myself a very reasonable/modest budget, and so far have been under budget. Not a fan of the rail, but it was thrown in as a freebie - so it'll do for now. Just need a muzzle device and some ammo.

I'll slap a set of MBUS on it for live-fire/function testing, figure everything else out afterwards.

    *Yes, crappy photo.

If it re-ignites my interest in AR building, I may rebuild it with a slightly higher budget in mind, at a later date.

Didn't you have a .458 Socom AR ? Thought I remember shooting it back when we could shoot down near Dameron?

    .50 Beowulf.

I sold that to a member here to help pay for my hernia repair. Been missing having a Thumper around, so decided to try out .450Bushy.

Watch what trigger you put in these. Not all AR triggers like the Glock mag bolts, they don't reset after firing or other problems.

If Mark built it, it is definitely good to go. He really helped me with my AR build.

Put a crap ton of rounds through it at the range and in competition runs and not a single hiccup.

Five steel plates in around 4 sec, using only the Magpul sights prior to putting the red dot on.

Oh yeah, this is one fine 9mm set up.
