A few years back I saved what I believe to be are two Patton sabers, literally from the trash heap ( long story ). Brought them home, cleaned them up, and they have been sitting in the cabinet every since.
They appear to be the real thing. The cool factor is high with these but I don’t have a clue what I’m going to do with them ( a tasteful wall mount maybe ??)
Any info. anyone cares to pass along on these particular swords is appreciated . TIA

I don't collect but thanks for planting the thought into my head to spend more money and become obsessed with more inanimate objects!

    Very cool swords!!!

Those are indeed M1913 sabers. You did well, those would go for about $500 each.

After reading the reply's here I learned my "rescue sabres" were worthy of a wall mount and oddly enough wifely agreed. One of the display cases arrived yesterday so this morning I set it up on the bar to see how it looked with the two different backgrounds. I have a spot on the wall that should accommodate the pair after my better half makes the call on the background. Couple of pictures.

They look pretty scary to me. You know Mom's Devouring Appetizers say The Founding Fathers never knew about swords when they ratified 2nd Amendment along with the rest of The Declaration of Independence.

I got around to hanging the cases for my "scrap heap" sabers today. Only thing missing is the light set for the top cabinet ( that will be along soon ), other than that all done.
