Military, just moved here not too long ago. CA resident. Was buying a AR pistol lower the other day because I finally can. Anyways, wanted to buy more than 1 but found out about the 30 day rule for regulated items. The salespeople were awesome and gave me the paperwork for designated collector status. I want to do it but I have no clue if I have to be an official resident/have a MD address to apply or if military on orders can even do it. Any info/knowledge would be much appreciated. Will try to contact the MSP at some point...

You will need an MD address.

    But that should be all.

You might want to add a cover letter that you do not require an HQL as you are active duty military.
