There was a really neat indoor Five Stand in Coatsville, PA. Trying to turn it into a Guntry Club killed it. Had two ranges, each had five stands on two floors.

    Location, location, location.

A wee bit too far from Bucks County and Wilmington DE.

Is this the save outfit that was going to open a range in Beltsville?

A lot will depend on just how plush the facility is. I've shot on ranges in Europe that could easily double as high-end golf courses...except that when you went out on the bar patio, you were overlooking the shotgun fields.

I went to high school with the Owner or one of the investors of this range. He is a retired leo. I have seen some pictures of the structure and it is impressive. If I can get some info I'll pass it along. For those that do Facebook, they have a page.

Never heard of it, that's a shame they didn't make it.

Interesting concept. Basically a warehouse with the walls and ceilings protected by layers of ballistic nylon curtains. There were 6-7 traps including a rabbit target, incoming, outgoing, and crossers with different size targets. A round was a little less than $10 and included shells. They required you to use their shells to protect the facility.

So I looked heavily into this via the website / FB pages. Looks great, and default range prices, while a bit higher than some, are pretty good. That said, I looked at the VIP costs...wow. Initiation: $5,000. Monthly: $250.

Looks like most of what you're getting is the lounge, the storage safe for your personal arms, pool tables etc, and some extra 'amenities' around range reservations, cost savings, simulator use, etc.

TBH, Idk if I can justify 5k on initiation but it DOES look like it could be great.

Exorbitant upfront costs are what killed that clays club in PA.

That on top of "members only".....

    .....priced it out of existence....

I just hope they start hosting children’s birthday parties. Astro Jump, Pump it Up and My Gym, kids parties suck.

Soooooo, if they store your firearms, and they get stolen, place burns down, or they abruptly close, what happens.

Remember when Lou passed, with firearms in his shop, waiting for the all clear for pickup?

    Behind enemy lines...
That's exactly what I need...a gun range with a "Cigar Room"!!! WTF
This is BallMer Shitty/County...not Manassas VA., or Metro DC.

One good thing with all those lanes and the high prices, you won't need to wait for a lane opening.

BUT, I do believe I'll pass!! F it.

    :tdown::tdown:
