You are 100% incorrect. The Barrett Light .50 semi-auto rifle is banned by name. The M-107 is not banned by name in the statute or COMAR. The M-107 was added to the list MSP claims is "banned by name" when someone went to buy one and the dealer inquired. I know because I'm the guy that was going to buy one November 2013. MSP made shit up and pulled it out of their ass.

    Correct....

That is neither the statute nor COMAR, that's MSP's list. ONLY the prototype Barrett Light .50 semi-auto rifle is banned by name. MSP claims a rifle that existed as a prototype only has parts interchangeability with the M-107.

    Correct ..only posted as ref....
but try to get one... as you mentioned.. in this lovely state..

sorry you didn't make it before 11/13

A few years ago someone attempted to transfer a Barrett M82A1. MSP could not find a way to prevent the transfer but informed the licensee that if such a transfer where to take place the licensee could look forward to monthly audits, attempted straw purchase/sting operations and they would not be invited or allowed to renew their Maryland Regulated Firearms Dealers License. Needless to say the transfer did not take place.

The only way MD would know is to examine the bound book.

No 77R on one now. :D

Banned Copy of an enumerated banned assault weapon. 12/9/2014

Biggest thing is, that list is NOT a legally binding list.

Remember, they had piston rifles as banned, until they were called on it.

And how can it be a copy of something that does not, and never did exist????

hey...it's Maryland or only in Merryland.
I totally agree..I look at it like this, if you
want it, then take the funds call them out
on it. And yes how can something be a copy
if there is no physical/ actual copy in front
of you or in this case them... virtual vs. real
    only in this state..
