I have the xl50, the xl100, and the xl200. They are fun lights with pretty impressive features, especially given the price. I use the xl50 on the low setting as a night light to read and not wake up the wife. They are small enough to fit comfortably in jeans. One con that I have found is that it is prone to fall over when table is bumped, and then has a tendency to roll off the nightstand, and out of sight. Flashlight "purists" tend to look down thier noses at it because it is powered by AAA. I like being able to pick up a 46 pack of batteries at Costco. I've dropped it a number of times and it hasn't failed me. I'd recommend it. Last but not least, it's Made in the USA, unlike most of it's competitors in the same price range, such as Fenix. Hope this helps. The xl50 and xl100 are ~ $30. The xl200 was around $43 shipped from Amazon.

I'd like a new flashlight for my glovebox of my car. That might do the trick nicely.
