    Yes we do.

The mass ignoring of the New Jersey magazine ban gives me hope that possible.

If they bans 80s prepare for a great opportunity to tell them to go to hell.

Who is to say that there aren't more than a few that are refusing to comply with the provisions of FSA2013?

Generally speaking it is known as keeping your powder dry, while the Brown Shirts think they are achieving their own goals. Also in MD the jackbooted thugs of the state (M&M Show, Hogan, Frosh, etc...), have no qualms about suppressing your rights, but let Tyrone, who is a 5 time felon in the judicial system plead everything down to stet.

So in MD you sit down and shut the fvck up about what you know, or what you have done, or will do. You live in a life of outward compliance, because you know that if you speak out alone, you are screwed. You will have to wait for the right time, so you can gather together and stand with many. #MOREPATRIOTSTHANHANDCUFFS That is the time when a MD resident will be able to throw off the shackles form the M&M Show, Froshole, and Vinnie's sideshow.

noncompliance in silence is equal to letting the schoolyard bully push you around and then talking to your friends about it in the safety of your home after school, only to be bullied the next day and repeating the talk with your friends.

it does not change the fact that you are pushed around and can only speak out in privacy.

in reality, you need to throw sand in the face of the bully and kick him in the nuts if he does not listen to you the first time you tell him to stop infringing on your rights. then he will question if he wants to bully you again.

when you do noncompliance in silence as most do, all it does it let them give out 1 felony count at a time to individuals

    think about this:
you have a job in a plant that gives 1 30 min break every 4 hours
you and your coworkers want a 10 min break every 2 hours and a 20 min break every 4 from start of day.
you all decide that on your own you will just go ahead and individually take 10 in break after 2 hours and then go back to work.
its unorganized and each doing their own thing
a few get caught not working for a period of 10 in after 2 hours
    they get suspended from work
the rest fall in line and go back to their break every 4 hours from start of day.
they could have gotten a different result if ALL workers decided to collectively and openly oppose and insist by going outside together after 2 hours for 10 minutes and then returning to work. the employer would not fire the entirety of the workforce for a ten minute break and you would have set a new standard. you must stand in solidarity or you will fall alone.

City Attorney Tom Carr has acknowledged that enforcing the ordinance will be a challenge, telling the Boulder Daily Camera that “there’s no circumstance where we go door-to-door and ask people if they’ve violated the law.”

    ... yet.

The city has insisted that certification does not constitute gun registration — police issue paper certificates and insist they do not keep records

Oh, well, in that case, I'll just print my own certs at home. Thanks.

Who believes that the police keep no records? Why issue something but keep no record yourself of the action? We should all just see what the form looks like and make our own. If they have no record, how would they know it’s not real?

It would better if we could get more people out at the Patriot Picket events. That's the only known activity to me that gets any visibility. Sending money to pro 2A organizations helps, but you need faces and bodies.

google is your friend, I am not.
If you decide to not comply with the law, it makes total sense to me to announce it on an internet forum heavily trafficked by law enforcement and government agent types. Especially if your job requires that you remain in good standing with, you know, the law. Just an observation: MD is surrounded by many other states within 40 minutes of anywhere, and also some deep bodies of water. "Hey look at me I have some guns" always seems like a complete dumbass thing to do, or even suggest people do, for a large number of reasons. The people that show up at your house to look at your guns (gold, valuables, etc) might be criminals, or government employees (of course those are not mutually exclusive). My advice is to exercise your natural, civil, constitutional right to STFU.

My first observation. Why is this in a public forum? I like the topic and want to contribute, but not to all the "enemies" that can see. Keep your cards close.....

I respect the people and premise of the PP.. that said, I have heard first hand from liberal delegates that the only thing the PP brings them is laughter..I think it would take 10s of thousands of protesters to make them stand up and take it seriously. I'm not saying it should stop..I just their are other means of protest that should also be incorporated into MDS repertoire. EVEN if it means open defiance and civil disobedience.

So you're good with keeping your non compliance to yourself instead of fighting...sure glad our founding fathers didn't see it that way..only cowards dig a hole and bury theirr heads..they are coming for your guns too..guess you will hand them over

    :thumbsup:Yep.

Where I live it would be as stupid for me to advertise my political and social positions as it would have been for an anti-communist in East Berlin to parade around with an American flag. Same reason I did not put Trump signs on my car or in my yard. It would bring unhealthy attention to me and possibly physical damage and harm to my property and person.

Let the accusations of BGOS and name calling begin. I also remember a saying from my youth - "The tall grass gets cut." There is a time for stealth and subterfuge and a time for taking it to the streets and everyone has to decide for themselves when those times are.

I think many members here - especially those who live solidly to the east or west of the DC metro area - truly don't understand the naked, unhinged animosity that those of us (in our camp) living in places like MoCo have aimed at us. Employers, customers, neighbors, teachers, local officials, grocery store clerks ... they don't just not understand us (or the bill of rights), they actively, aggressively hate us. They are exactly the sort of people to call up child services, or try to get a red flag ERPO going, or launch an HOA action against you, accuse you of crimes, use social media to try to ruin your business, and on and on ... because they saw you walking your dog with an NRA hat on or saw you loading gun cases into your car. This isn't hyperbole. This isn't phony drama. This is what we're up against in the closer-in 'burbs that run this state. You DO have to choose your battles if you have anything like a normal life at stake and have to earn a living or have kids in school or the like.

And when people here say that our revolutionary founding fathers weren't afraid to get, well, revolutionary ... right! Because they first got together in an assembly that attracted the support of a large percentage of the colonial population, and had the equivalent of our contemporary law enforcement and military literally being stationed in their homes, guns taken from everybody, and absolutely no mechanism by which to seek redress through elections or court rulings. If our founders could have, as colonial subjects, made enough of an election stink to get someone elected who could have placed sensible judges on a supreme court able to actually blunt the crown's tyranny, it would have been a very different revolution. It might even have looked a lot like getting Trump elected, and watching Kavanaugh get confirmed despite the metaphorical assassination attempts. But there was no such structure in place.

But if Washington, Jefferson, Madison and the rest could only get a few dozen people actively on their side, and had every thing they did traceable through bank records, mobile phone logs, and more - they would have been a lot more on the down-low than they were. So: how many more people need to get riled up enough to stop caring about their jobs and their families in order to make a visible presence in a small march ... before it even begins to approach the scale of the typical *****-hat marches which operate in a climate of press impunity? Because shy of that scale, it's very fair to ask how many, if any people (and who) such displays cause to intellectually, philosophically reverse their long-held positions on things like gun ownership.

Yes, it's incredibly valuable to roll the rhetorical dice and occasionally get a message through to a state legislator so that they question the constitutionality of doing what their party leadership makes them do. But our real salvation will be (for us Marylanders) in the courts. We are overwhelmingly out numbered. We have the rest of the country's deplorables to thank for an electoral college nail-biter that has resulted in a large number of right-leaning federal judges and two, perhaps three SCOTUS justices. Our best bet in MD is hope for standing in cases that can get traction. Don't shame people who could literally lose their ability to feed their family if their faces get plastered all over social media as they gather in a small - no matter how righteous - group that the lefties can easily abuse. It's a maddening situation, but it's real.

Wonder how many would simply have "We Will Not Comply" sticker on their vehicles, T shirts, etc. I wonder how long it would take for anyone - the press- to sniff out what it means. It would be a way to publicly state the fake laws will not be adhered to. I like the "more Patriots than handcuffs," Jeff.

If things continue the way they are, eventually every gun owner in the country is going to be forced to comply or fight..there will be no middle ground..so, are we going to slough off our responsibility to fight now, or force our children and grandchildren to fight because we stood by and hid in our basements? This isn't just about guns..our enemies on the left (and regardless how you feel, they ARE our enemies) want to replace our current free market economy with socialism, they want to control us from cradle to grave and they want a monopoly on power..none of which they can do without permission from the American gun owner..so bury your heads in the ground all you'd like. .they are still coming for your guns and your freedom. .if you are not actively pushing back you're part of the problem..
